Fruit Drop-Off is Back!

Have fruit trees? Help us keep bears wild this fall! PCEC has partnered with Bear Awareness Gardiner to collect surplus tree fruit at the Livingston Farmers Market โ€” turning it into c***r, farm animal feed, and community resources while keeping bears out of neighborhoods.

๐Ÿ“… Every Wednesday, Aug 19 โ€“ Sept 16
๐Ÿ•“ 4:30โ€“7:30 PM
๐Ÿ“ Zero Waste Station, Livingston Farmers Market

Bears can eat up to 20,000 calories a day this time of year as they prep for hibernation โ€” an unpicked tree can turn a passing visit into a reason to stay. Picking your fruit is a simple way to reduce conflicts and keep both bears and neighbors safe.

Come Learn Something New at the Market Today! โ˜€๏ธ

๐Ÿ•ต๏ธ Can You Outsmart the Con?
Ever find yourself wondering, โ€œIs this a scam?โ€ Scammers are getting smarterโ€”and Sky Federal Credit Union is here to help you stay one step ahead!

Stop by their booth and take the โ€œOutsmart the Conโ€ Challenge to see if you can tell whatโ€™s realโ€”and whatโ€™s a scam. Think you can outsmart the con? Come test your skills!

๐Ÿ’ง Save Water, Save Money!
Stop by PCEC's booth behind the Bandshell and join John Lunzer from DNRC for a hands-on lawn watering demo! Learn how to use a sprinkler gauge to see how much water your lawn is actually getting and how a few simple adjustments can help save water and money.

Did you know? During peak summer heat, lawns generally need 1โ€“1.5 inches of water per week, and watering between sunset and 4:00 a.m. can help reduce water loss from evaporation.
Come learn something new while youโ€™re at the market today! ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’ง
