on the farm! We are so happy for the warm weather and rain but unfortunately it does turn the well trafficked spots into soup 🥴 thankfully the cows and chickens don’t seem to mind as they are way to excited for the green grass.

2 hours of chores done in 2 minutes! Going from 80 to SNOW in a week can be stressful when dealing with small calves. Thankfully the ladies are great moms and being excellent heaters for their babies through this cold snap.

Hi friends!

If you can, please sign this petition to stop or pause the data center coming to Sangamon county. They are OFTEN sited as creating sound that neighbors can hear and feel from 2-3 miles away 24/7, increase the electric bills by up to 50% and often draw more than their fair share of water by adding pressure to existing systems (300,000 gallons per day plus depending on size). This one is slated to be HUGE at 1.4 MILLION square feet. This will also take 230 acres of farm ground out of production!! Illinois has some of the best soil in the world and it would be a shame to cover it in concrete and processors.

Whether you are worried about your personal bottom line for bills, or concerned about that much more of Sangamon county’s farm ground being covered up for years without any confirmations of required upkeep—there is reason to push a pause button until more information can be given.
