Please join us tomorrow, Friday, August 28, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Get your weekend provisions! We’re open rain or shine – we’re inside if there it rains. Here are a few highlights for this week:

Mollyockett Farm will have Lg and Sm Chicken Pies, Strawberry & Fig Crisps, Blueberry Pies, Tomato Ricotta and Pesto Tarts, Chicken & Spinach Baked Pasta for two, Sourdough English Muffins, Bread & Butter Pickles, Dilly Beans.

Shelley McNamara will have Lots of scones: Peach crumble scones, Espresso, cocoa + choc. chip, Everything but the bagel, Espresso + butterscotch chip, Zucchini + cheese. Peach, Ginger + Jalapeño chutney. Pickles.

Longview Bees will have Raw Honey, honey and beeswax products, mini pumpkin breads and chocolate chip cookies. Organic veggies including cherry tomatoes, yellow pear tomatoes, peppers, zucchini and broccoli. Also will have jams and pickles.

Fresh Start Farm will have cabbage, broccoli, kale, carrots, Swiss chard, corn, beets, etc. - stop by the Dunham Farm table.

Dunham Farm . Velvet Hollow Sugar Works will have maple syrup, Sweet and Zesty Zucchini relish, GF pancake mix, granola. GF baked goods: carrot cake, peanut butter granola cookies, egg- dairy-free Anadama loaf, chocolate-coconut bars. We also have WindowAlert decals to help prevent birds from stricking windows.

Good morning! We are nearing the end of August. Kiddos will be headed back to school next week, and it will be Autumn before we know it! Over the next few weeks my menus will begin to reflect the change of season. Soups, stews, all things pumpkin, apple, squash.....and biscuits will be back! I've got a few new great Salads to offer also. Looking forward to Summer coming to a close, and moving into my favorite Season!! ❤️🤎🧡💛

Shelley McNamara will have sourdough scones assortment: Freshly picked blackberry scones; Pesto - Organic basil, garlic, pine nuts + asiago cheese; Sundried tomato, feta, green onion + cheese. Coffee cake. Everything but the bagel scones. Banana chocolate chip. Plus dried ramps + ramp butter. Violet jelly. Lemonade lilac jelly. Just made mustard + dill pickles.

Longview Bees will have raw honey, honey products, and organic vegetables. Will also have Raisin Bran muffins, jams and pickles.

We are welcoming a new vendor, Shelly McNamara. See a write up about her and the kinds of things she will bring to the market in the photos part of the post – Sourdough scones is a specialty of Shelly’s.

Shelley McNamara - A little about me...
Lifelong Mainer + gardener + forager. I started my sourdough journey last year as a result of being ill for a year. My doctor recommended sourdough products as they are gentler on your gi tract + body overall. So I started making my own breads, scones, desserts using sourdough. Strangely fell in love with the process. I've never been a baker so I was quite surprised at how much I enjoyed the process. An interesting item Shelley sells: “Blind date with a book” is basically any book + it gets covered with paper, stickers, bookmarks, tiny gifts that get tucked into the pockets. There's a little description with each book giving a hint to what it's about + telling the genre. You buy a book without knowing all the details. Just a fun way to read new stuff. They also make cute gifts for readers.
