Back River Farm in Loganville, Georgia is a Certified Naturally Grown produce farm and we have several CSAs (community supported agriculture) shares available. We farm using organic practices. Half shares are $15 per week and full shares are $28 per week. A half share will feed an average of 2 adults and 1 child. A full share will feed an average of 2 adults and 2 teenagers.
These shares are community supported agriculture which help support local farmers, they encourage people to eat some produce that they normally would not buy and encourage people to try different recipes with they weekly produce included in each share.
What is a CSA? Community Supported Agriculture. You purchase a share of the season’s harvest from a local farm like Back River Farm. You then will share both the bounty and risk of growing vegetables with the farmer. The fall harvest season lasts through December depending on the weather.
Pickups are on the farm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
