Summer flowers are hanging on, but fall has officially arrived at Tavaputs Farm. 🍂💐
Fresh-cut bouquets AND our fall wax melts are headed to The Cowboy Merchantile today!
I may not be ready to give up flower season just yet, I am never ready… but I am absolutely ready for the house to smell like Autumn Glow, Fall Nights, Apples in Fall & Fallen Leaves. 🤎
A little bit of summer to put on the table and a little bit of fall to make the whole house smell good.

Another little peek at what’s coming this fall… 🍂
This old girl has been waiting patiently for her turn.
Soon she'll be dressed for fall and become one of our signature photography locations here at Tavaputs Farm.
I have a vision for her that I can't wait to bring to life.

Flowers will be delayed getting to The Cowboy Mercantile, I apologize and will have some there tomorrow. the storm that came through while thankful for the rain took out my favorite tree and another one that is now laying in my neighbors field.

A little peek at Fall at Tavaputs Farm. 🍂
This is one of the indoor fall settings I've been creating for this year's photography sessions.
I wanted fall without feeling like a traditional fall backdrop — soft, layered, a little dramatic, and enough color and texture to feel like the season while still letting the people in the photograph be what matters most.
And this is only one of the settings.

Some of you may have wondered what I've been doing with this summer other than flowers…
Well, here it is. ❤️
Over the last several months, I've been quietly turning a working greenhouse into a photography studio—and bringing back a part of my life that I left behind a long time ago.
But I didn't want four walls and a backdrop.
I wanted a place where I could create photographs that felt like something. A real studio when I need one. Beautiful natural light. Sets that can completely change with the seasons. And right outside the doors, the gardens, flowers, fields, old buildings and all the character of Tavaputs Farm.
There is still more to finish and a whole lot more I'm excited to show you, but I think I've kept this under wraps long enough.
Tavaputs Farm is growing a new chapter.

We may be melting in the summer heat, but the flowers are absolutely thriving! 🌻🌸
The fields are filling with color every day, and our summer blooms are just beginning to hit their stride. It won't be long before the Flower Bar is open again, where you can build your own bouquet with fresh, locally grown flowers straight from the farm.
Stay tuned... the best of summer is just getting started. 💐☀️
