🌻 Final Facebook Post – The Pumpkin Pad
Today, we share that the farm has officially been sold, and we are closing a chapter that has meant so much to our family and to this community and surrounding communities.
The Pumpkin Pad was built from the ground up—starting as a simple idea in Grain Valley on just a few acres, and growing into something far greater than we ever imagined. Over the years, we moved to Lone Jack and expanded to 75 acres, creating a place where families could come together, make memories, and enjoy the season.
What made it special was never just the pumpkins or the attractions… it was the people.
To our customers who made us part of your fall traditions…
To the families who came back year after year…
To our employees—past and present—who brought energy, heart, and dedication every single season…
To the food trucks, vendors, and bands who helped create such a fun and welcoming atmosphere…
Thank you. You are the reason this place became what it was.
We’ve shared countless memories here—not just as a business, but as a family. Those moments helped shape who we are, and we will carry them with us for the rest of our lives.
As this season comes to an end, our family is stepping into new chapters and different directions. While that brings change, it also brings growth—and we are grateful for both.
We wish the new owners of the farm continued success and can’t wait to see the new memories they will create for this community and surrounding communities.
