Yellow oysters and not so petite brown oysters loving the rain. Maybe I'll have a few for next week's first market 🤞. Planted some beets and un-planted some dandelion. Not to self: harvest those dandelion flowers next year. Your scarcity mindset does not compute for dandelion and burdock. They're great, but enough already! Happy for all the rain we got and for a true day off yesterday filled with lots of sitting, reading, relaxing and soup. Hope you enjoyed at least one day on this holiday weekend! 🇺🇲

These gutters have been waiting 15 years for this project to be put together! Long pieces of metal moved here and there, in the way, out of the way. We could've built this 10 times with all the moving around. Cheers to procrastination and finally getting a job done!😂 Now I'm just waiting for some delicious strawberries. Also hoping for an abundance of them to make an elixir to share. Hear that Squirrely? And birds? Share the strawberries 🍓.

When you've been missing all the warblers, but walk out the backdoor and immediately see a pair of you know it's gonna be a good day! But then again, any day outside and with birds 🐦 is a good day. Next pic is an then a very leery and a fledgling crackle being stared down by Blue. They both lost that game of chicken. 😂

Lady towhee. We have a lot of them in the yard right now. I love that they sing their name. She's taking notes while watching a house sparrow below her take some rope strands for nesting material. A Mister towhee later had a run in with Mr Cardinal. You do not come near a cardinals peanut at this time of year!

Well, that was unexpected! We weren't sure if we'd bother hunting, wondered if we should find the time for it. And there they were! A perfect amount to have with some of our last yellow oysters, fresh asparagus and arugula. Of course I forgot to take a photo of the finished dish. Finished it too quick! 🤤🤤🤤

It's kinda raw out there, but this didn't mind. Finally found one! The digs this weather too. Finally some green! I became kinda miserable after a while. It's hard to see things when mist keeps getting in your eyes. Successful day for , a little too early for mushroom watching. Soon.
