Spring hosting, but make it budget friendly ✨🍋

Pulled together a dreamy spring dinner party for under $12 a person for 6 people and honestly… no one would ever guess. Menu was lemon chicken with asparagus and rice, a fresh Greek salad, a simple side salad, and an easy appetizer with brie and apricot jelly. Finished it off with orange ice cream topped with fresh orange zest 🍊

Plus I scored a bottle of organic wine for just $5 that would’ve easily been $25 anywhere else.

Same grocery list. Two stores. One very clear difference.

I wanted to see what happens when you shop the exact same everyday items at Grocery Outlet vs a traditional grocery store so I built a simple weekly list and tried to match everything as closely as possible.

From popcorn and blueberries to almond butter and zucchini I compared size quality and ingredients side by side.

At Grocery Outlet I found bigger packs of organic produce and clean ingredient options like almond butter with no seed oils. At the competitor some items were smaller more limited or harder to match exactly.

And when I laid everything out at home the difference was obvious.

Savings $41

Same list. Same meals in mind. Very different outcome.
