Not sure how I got here, but let me tell you about all the things I’ve lost along the way. Love, innocence and ideals, to name a few. I hope that one day, when all my hair has gone gray, or fallen, the hours I’ve spent working will reward the people around me. I was born into a working class family, and I believe it’ll take a couple generations for that to change. In this industry and this city, I’ve been told to sell my story, to brand myself. But in all honesty, it’s not about me. It’s about the system, and more importantly, about a just food system. It’s all political. So go ahead, and broadcast your life, sell your story, just make sure you don’t get the philosophy lost along the way.
