hello friends!! it's been a while... we've opened a teeny restaurant called Parsnip in Highland Park! come visit us for fresh plachinta and lots of other Romanian goodies!!

we've been getting some really nice press and wonderful response from the neighborhood.

Anca Caliman saw a gap in the marketplace for Eastern European cuisine and opened Parsnip, a new cafe in Highland Park. With every handmade flatbread and bowl of warm paprikash, Caliman is serving a piece of her history.
