Hello, I'm Sarah the founder of Land Girl Organics.

I started beekeeping around 10 years ago as a way to keep my hand in farming as we started a family and to diversify our farming business. I'd seen first hand the healing powers of mānuka and I wanted to utilise this incredible natural resource that grows wild on our land. I saw an opportunity to celebrate females working in agriculture and once I started to explore the idea of producing my own mānuka honey to sell, I couldn't believe there were basically no certified organic options for consumers. This was where Land Girl was born.

Our brand is evolving quickly and I am really excited about the future of Land Girl.

☕ A simple tip for enjoying Mānuka honey.

Many people don't realise that this applies to all honey, not just Mānuka 👇.

Honey naturally contains enzymes and other beneficial compounds that can be affected by excessive heat. That's why it's best to wait until your tea or coffee has cooled slightly before stirring it in.

When it comes to premium Mānuka honey - especially higher UMF grades - be sure to wait a few minutes.

🍯 Brew your drink.
☕ Let it cool slightly.
✨ Then stir in your Mānuka and enjoy.
