I needed something flavorful, convenient, and good for me. Inspiration struck, as I saw a chance to develop a product specifically designed to address those issues. In a time of ever-changing dietary guidelines, I devised a new means of indulging with inno
cence. While having a morning cup of coffee, I saw a dark chocolate bar lying next to my usual probiotic supplements. I was determined to figure out how to combine them into a dietary, taste bud friendly alternative to the supplements. Using the pistachios grown on our Central California family farm, with pounds of yogurt and chocolate, I spent countless hours in the kitchen, developing the probiotic coating. Two years after launching this venture, including testing and production, I’m satisfied with the result.
