Save the date(s)! We are coming up on our Food Access LA celebration of National Farmers' Market Week. To celebrate, we will have a stamp card activity where you can shop the market OR visit our different markets for a chance to win prizes. Did you know that SEE-LA manages the Atwater Farmers’ Market AND 7 other markets across LA? And that they ALL accept EBT/Calfresh? Our staff works tirelessly to manage your local farmers' markets, host nutrition classes, and work with BIPOC-led small businesses to support our local food economy.

As a nonprofit, we rely on donations to continue to improve food access across LA! Donate today!

Hello market goers! 💚 After many conversations concerning waste at the market, Atwater Village is going BYOC - starting JULY 16TH! Our recycling bins are often piled high with plastic cups and hot coffee cups and guess what, neither are recyclable! This inspired us to mitigate the use of single use plastics all together.

This means all market patrons are encouraged to bring their own reusable cup to use at the market. It also means that the market will have reusable market cups to use in place of single use plastic cups. Swipe for more information on how it works.

This is a transition we can make with the help of everyone, so spread the word! Pack your reusable cup ahead of time, leave a spare in your car, pack one for your kids, your friends, your enemies, or even a stranger if you feel so inclined.

Here are some market tips to create a little less waste during your market trip, every Sunday! Swipe for details.

🧺bring your own shopping bags. A backpack, tote, basket, wagon, stroller or just an old paper/plastic bag will do. This Sunday, bring bags you no longer want to participate in our tote trade.

🫙bring your reusable cups, cutlery or tupperware when dining at the market. Bring your reusables this Sunday to get a sticker.
