What does it mean to invest in your community? For one family we met at the market, it starts early. 🌱

A local mom shared that one of the reasons she brings her daughter to Wellington Square Farmers Market is because she wants her to grow up understanding the value of community, not just enjoying it, but contributing to it, supporting it, and helping it thrive in her own way one day.

Her daughter may still be little, but the lessons start now.

We also met her brother and his friend, two neighbors who make the market part of their Sunday routine. For them, it’s about fresh fruit, familiar faces, and being part of something local.

THE FREE-ISH FLOWER SHOP POP UP returns this Sunday at Wellington Square Farmers Market with 🌸

Come build your own donation-based flower arrangement while supplies last. Bring your mom, your best friend, your date… or romanticize your own life a little bit and make yourself a bouquet. ✨

The last pop-up sold through fast and the energy was honestly beautiful. Fresh flowers, good music, community, and people slowing down long enough to create something pretty together.

Some people still don’t trust the city green bins… and honestly, after talking to him, I get it. ♻️

This Sunday at WSFM, one community member dropped off 15 pounds of compost because he wanted to KNOW it was actually going somewhere meaningful. Not sitting in a landfill. Not wasted. Actually being turned into nutrient-rich soil that can feed gardens, plants, and future food.

That’s the beauty of circular composting. You give back to the soil… and the soil gives back to the community. 🌱

And the coolest part? You can even come back and receive rich compost for your own plants and gardens.

Small habits. Big impact.

POV: you stop by the farmers market for “one quick juice” and suddenly somebody’s teaching you about inflammation and gut health 😭🥬

Shoutout to for breaking down some easy-to-do juice cleanses and explaining how certain juices can actually support joint health too. I genuinely didn’t know that.

Lowkey feels like the farmers market is becoming therapy for my body at this point lol.
