Peluso’s Mexican cheeses: Cotija, Queso Fresco, Panela, Doble Crema, Requeson, and Central American cheeses: Queso Freir and Chontaleño, are always made-to-order and are the perfect accompaniment in anything from a classic Hispanic dish to whatever weeknight meal you’re cooking. Peluso is famous for its cheese flavor, especially its Tomales Bay Teleme Cheese, which was awarded first among cheeses

by the American Cheese Society for 1992 and 1993. Just as important as the quality of their products are the people. At Peluso Cheese the employees are also known for their strict freshness standards and excellent customer service. Peluso accepts only 100% fresh California cow’s milk from dairies that don’t treat their cows with growth hormones, such as rSBT. The company never uses skim milk, mixes, milk powder or adds fillers, such as flour, vegetable oil or fattening starches.
