Well folks, It's been a great season. Our last day will be tomorrow, Aug 21. Thank you to all of you who came out!

We could definitely use more help picking for our markets. We pay $2/lb to do it. Right now the picking is very easy. If you would like to do it, please reach out to me with a text: 330-221-7764

I'd recommend coming early or late to do this when it's cooler. Also, the berries have to be good quality, so, ripe all the way around, no stems or junk, and no damaged or nasty berries.

Thanks, and spread the word if you know anybody who might be interested!

We're counting down the final days until the start of blueberry season, and it's looking good!

We open on Tuesday, June 23rd.

Our hours have changed. They are:
Monday: 8-1pm, 6pm-dark
Tuesday: 8-1pm
Wednesday: 8-1pm, 6pm-dark
Thursday: 8-1pm
Friday: 8-1pm, 6pm-dark
Saturday: 8-dark
Sunday: 6pm-dark

The logic behind this siesta schedule is that we don't want to have someone stuck staffing the stand during the blazing hot hours of the day when few people come. However, on cool cloudy days we'd be happy to stay open if people want to pick. If you'd like to come during a time that is outside of our hours, like extra early or during a cool mid-day, just ask. Here's my number: 330-221-7764. Texts are fine.

Our berries are never sprayed with anything inorganic and are perfectly safe to eat without washing.

Our season is likely to last until mid-August.

We will be open on the 4th of July.

Our prices are:
$3.25/lb U-pick
$5.25/lb pre-picked
$25/1 gal freezer bag full (weighing roughly 5 lb)

We have buckets and bags, though you're encouraged to bring your own.

Dress for the weather!

Our varieties are:
Duke
Spartan
Draper
Top Shelf
Blue Ribbon
Clockwork
Blue Crop
Calypso
Elliott

We sell elderberries for $3.25 U-pick

I hope to see you out here!

It's chestnut time, and we're looking for help bringing in the harvest! We do it all day everyday, and it's a good way to make some money while enjoying a fall activity in the orchard.

Anyone who'd like to do this should contact me: 330-221-7764.

I recommend sturdy shoes. If you have a belt, you can attach some holders at your hips that a lot of people use to work more efficiently. We mainly pick them up off the ground, so it's kind of like a big Easter egg hunt, though with some essential organization.

We pay people for picking buckets of chestnuts, and the amount we pay goes up as people pick more.
The pay rate starts off at $20/bucket.
After 5 buckets, it goes to $21.
After 15, $22
After 25, $23
After 35, $24
After 45, $25
The increases are retroactive, so when you hit a new rate, I would owe you that much for every bucket you've picked so far this year. We provide the buckets. They're about 6 gal, and if they're heaped, then they should be full enough. For any that aren't full (less than 32 pounds), we pay 50¢/lb.

If you're interested, let me know! If you know anybody who might be, spread the word!

It's hard to believe, but there's still a fair amount of blueberries out there from the late season plants that just keep on giving. There's probably enough for several people to come and have a nice pick. We also have tons of elderberries that you can pick too for the same price. Text me and make an appointment if you'd like to do it: 330-221-7764. If you're reading this after Sept 3, just ignore it.

We are now closed for the season. Thank you to all of you who came out or found us at the farmers markets. I'm so grateful for all your support!

Also, chestnut season is looking like it's going to be good. We're looking for a lot more help getting in the harvest. There are no age restrictions, and the money is pretty good, especially for those who hustle. Whether you'd like to come out for an hour or camp out for the season, any help is appreciated.

Hi Folks! We're open and the weather is tolerable. Many of the plants are so loaded with big ripe berries that they can't support their own weight. Now is the time to come pick!

Also, we could desperately use a lot more help picking for the markets. We pay $2 per pound, but the berries have to be well-picked. It's a job that people of all ages can do.

We are opening on the 27th! Here are our hours:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8-1:30, then 5:30-dark (or til everybody leaves)
Wednesday: 8-1:30
Saturday: 8-dark
Sunday: noon-dark

The reason that we're often closed during the mid-day is that people rarely come when it's hot. I'm cool days though, I'm happy to stay open. If you're not sure if we're open or if you'd like to come outside of our hours, that would probably be fine. Just call or text: 330-221-7764 and we'll talk.

U-pick is $2.95/lb
Pre-picked: $4.95/lb

The berries aren't sprayed with anything inorganic and are fine to eat without washing.

We have buckets and bags if you need them, but you're encouraged to bring your own.

We're open on the 4th of July.

Hope to see you all out here!
