Daffodils = first true signs of spring! Fancy narcissus come in so many colors, varieties and scents. It’s hard not to fall in love!

Hellebores are some of the easiest flowers to grow. And, super profitable as a winter cut flower offering. I have built my collection purchasing some fun/frilly varieties that aren’t the best for cut flowers (because the flower head faces down) but also some of Ice n Roses varieties that are better suited for bouquet work. I love the them all and will be moving them to Kentucky:)

Although I have never certified my farm as organic (nor will I certify my Kentucky farm), I grow using no harmful pesticides insecticides or herbicides. I use Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) products whenever possible. I strive to build a symbiotic backyard environment where all of the birds, insects, snakes, and other critters live in harmony and help my flowers to stay healthy. It’s the least I can can do to give back to the earth that has produced so many lovely flowers for our enjoyment!
