What Is Creamed Honey?
No Dairy: Despite the name "creamed" or "whipped," or “spun” it contains zero milk, cream, or added fats.
Controlled Crystals: Unlike raw honey that forms hard, crunchy, or uneven crystals, creamed honey contains millions of microscopic crystals.
No Drip: It holds its shape and spreads easily on toast, biscuits, or bagels without making a sticky mess.
How It Is MadeThe Starter (Seed): A small amount of finely crystallized honey is mixed into liquid raw honey (typically at a 1:9 or 1:10 ratio).
Whipping: The mixture is blended or stirred to distribute the tiny seed crystals and incorporate micro-air bubbles.
Setting: Letting the mixture rest at cool room temperatures (around 55–70°F) allows the microscopic template to guide the entire batch into a smooth, thick spread.
