Murphy's Roasted Nuts & Sweets Shop Local, family-owned business in Louisville, KY Murphy's Nuts is a local, family-owned business, based out of Mount Washington. Matthews Mall during the holidays!

We travel across the country doing different events throughout the year. Some of our favorites are the Arabian Horse Show in Scottsdale, AZ, the Barrett Jackson car show in Las Vegas, and of course setting up shop right at home in St.

We’re hiring temp event staff for the Barrett-Jackson Classic Auto Auction (Jan 17-25, 2026) at WestWorld of Scottsdale. We run three snack booths serving favorites like popcorn, pretzels, nachos, and more.

If you’re reliable, upbeat, and can handle a fast-paced crowd, we want you on the crew.

What you’ll do:
-Take orders and handle payments
-Serve snacks quickly and cleanly
-Restock and keep the booth looking sharp
-Work as a team during peak rushes

Good fit if you are:
-On time, energetic, and people-friendly
-Comfortable standing for long shifts
-Able to work in a loud, busy event environment
-Food service or cashier experience is a plus (not required)

🎡 Now Hiring for the Kentucky State Fair! 🎡

We're looking for friendly, reliable team members to help run three booths at this year’s Kentucky State Fair. Two indoor dessert booths and one outdoor breakfast booth. Positions are available for both sales and food prep.

📅 Fair Dates: August 14–24

there are 2 shifts available
Morning: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Evening: 2:30 PM – Close
Fair hours are 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
All hours are tracked with a time clock.

💪 Additional Opportunities:
We could also use extra hands for setup before the fair and tear-down after. Let us know if you're available to help!

Pay is competitive + tips

Dress code is:

Non-ripped Jeans, khakis, or dress slacks.

Polo or plain shirt (no logos or writing)

Comfortable, closed-toe shoes (you’ll be on your feet!)

Hair must be restrained per health department rules, hats or visors recommended

This is a fast-paced, fun environment, perfect for someone who enjoys working with people and being part of a team during one of the biggest events of the year!
