Today we spotlight one of our part-time vendors, Crochet & Wordplay.(Crochet) My name is Andrew. I am a crochet artist with a passion for using upcycled materials to create unique designs. Being a part of the LGBTQ+ community, my work accentuates the positive of being q***r and emphasizes being unique. I love to crochet and bring joy to those who would share in my art.
(Wordplay) My name is Evan, but I'm better known as Outlaw G. I am a poet and spoken word artist from Louisville KY. I am an author of poetry and a performer of the same discipline. I love to write and inspire others to be the best [Definition] of themselves. You define the world, don't let the world define you.

Mondays with Morgan! 🍞🍅🧀
Tonight’s dinner is a double whammy from Allergy Dragon’s rustic sourdough loaf - welcome back, vendor hat, Martha! The loaf stars as an ingredient in a creamy tomato blender soup, and as the main attraction of our goopy grilled cheezes.

I added plant-based butter, sugar, apple c***r vinegar, tomato paste, and MSG to make it bolder, smoother, and brighter. Garlic from Floyd’s View Farm while I can still get it!

The grilled cheez uses fake cheddar, fake herby cream cheez, and homemade mayonnaise from my backyard chickens.

Not pictured: the divine gluten-free, dairy-free carrot cake from Goldenrod Bakery because it was too good to wait for 😎🍰

Have you bought your apples from the market yet? I did, from By His Grace Farm, and I sure put them to use! I turned three green apples of the bunch into an apple crisp dessert that’s as comforting as the start of autumn.
I referred to a local recipe from an ancient camp cookbook that my husband’s family often used, attached here as the last two photos. I subbed GF flour and used plant-based olive oil butter instead of margarine, as a personal preference.
Try this one out - you’ll love it so much that you’ll want to bring it to every holiday party, especially since you can make it ahead and refrigerate it until ready to bake!

The schedule is jam-packed, starting with fun all day, inclusive trick-or-treating and a scavenger hunt for the kids!

Our annual fundraising BBQ Meal this year is being provided by Rubbies Southside Grill & Bar. The plates will cost $25.00 each, and you will receive a coupon for $2.00 off a crafter or baker that day. All proceeds go toward covering the market's rent for the 2027 season.

Around 10:30 am, there will be a small awards ceremony for the market's vendors and volunteers.

We will also have raffle tickets for baskets on sale, and the basket winners will be announced around 12:15 pm.

Sunglow Goods is a home decor and jewelry brand, focusing on beautiful handmade goods to adorn your space and enhance your personal expression. My name is Eveline Clark, the creator of Sunglow Goods. I have a passion for fiber arts and jewelry, and I created this brand to showcase my skills and share my gift. I work with beads, metal, and various fiber arts, and I plan on incorporating cut flower bouquets into my product lineup this summer. I have something for everyone and cultivate a bright, warm, and sunny vibe.
