Its been about 10 days since planting and the first to sprout... drum roll... The Wasabi. The tomatoes are also sprouting but no peppers yet.

Yesterday, we enjoyed chatting while planting; getting to know a few neighbors and friends better, and sharing Arte's Pizza. It was enjoyable and all went away with their peppers planted. Here we planted about 160 pepper and tomato starts. We also planted a few hundred Chamomile seeds into 114 pots because they are like fine dust. The seeds are all enjoying their first soaking watering and sunshine today and will go into the hot zone to germinate.

Pepper planting season is upon us! Peppers take longer to sprout so we are planning to start pepper & tomato seed pots this coming

We would love to involve our G.R.O. community in this activity (meaning ALL are welcome!)
We have some seeds, pots, soil, and a warm barn to share if you'd like to join us in planting some things of your own to take home; or you can bring what you have and enjoy some camaraderie with fellow garden lovers! Join us from 10am to noon. Meet at the barn to the left of the house (long dirt road) and bring a chair or stool if you like to sit. (some of our favorite Arte's famous Pizza provided). RSVP or reply if coming.
