🍒 TART CHERRY UPDATE 🍒

​To our customers on the fresh tart cherry list: Although our planned opening day for ordering was yesterday, June 1st, we are experiencing a brief delay.

​Due to the massive freeze and national shortage of tart cherries this year, our grower is currently working with the co-op to finalize pricing for this year's harvest. He reached out yesterday and hopes to have those numbers in the next day or two.

​As soon as we have that information, we will open up the ordering process and get it right out to you! Thank you for bearing with us while they work through the logistics.

🚨 BIG JUNE UPDATE: Earliest Harvest in Modern History! 🚨

In over 40 years of business, we have never seen a season start like this. Mother Nature is throwing a huge curveball for 2026, and things are moving fast!

We've got an incredibly early harvest heading to the stand, which means peak season is hitting way earlier than usual. If you wait until your usual time to get your favorites, you’re going to miss out!

📅 Here’s the breakdown:
🍒 Colorado Bing & Rainier Cherries: Debuting by the end of next week!
🍑 Palisade Apricots: Arriving in about 10 to 14 days.
🍑 Palisade Peaches: Record early harvest starting around June 15th!
🍅 Heirloom & Beefsteak Tomatoes: Dropping this coming Tuesday or Wednesday.
🍉 Famous Arizona Melons: Arriving soon!

⚠️ CRITICAL TART PIE CHERRY UPDATE: Massive freezes hit Utah and the North Central US, causing a huge national shortage. Our grower barely survived and is reporting only a 20% crop. Because of this, market prices will be significantly higher this season. We still plan to open our online ordering system on June 1st (though it may be delayed a day or two depending on final pricing). Get on that list early!

🚚 Farmers Markets are BACK for June:
• Thursdays: Estes Valley Farmers Market from 8-1
• Sundays: Fairgrounds Park from 9-1

While we welcome the unofficial start of summer at the stand, we know that today is first and foremost about honor. This morning, on Memorial Day at Scofield Fruits, we remember all the brave men and women who gave everything in service to our country.
