Boogie here with a question.

Would anyone be interested in having main course meals prepared for home use?
Would anyone want to have a small party catered?
Would anyone want to have main course meals frozen for the Lake or Beach?

Some of the choices would be Crawfish Etouffee, Chicken & Dumplings, Shrimp Etouffee, Shrimp & Grits, Shrimp Gumbo, Meatballs and Brown Gravy, Stuffed Flounder, Beef tips and Gravy, Pork Tenders and Spaghetti & Meat Sauce.

I am fully retired now but still love to cook and serve people. At this time I am only checking to see If there would be any interest.

For those of you that missed our original posts weeks ago, I want to restate that we made arrangements with the new owners, Reel Cajun Seafood, that they will honor the Boogie & Tootsie's gift certificates. Tootsie

It is with great sadness that I announce that this afternoon Boogie & I sold the deli. It has been a very emotional day for both of us because our employees were like family to us and you, our incredible customers became very dear friends and all of you so very special to us. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for making the deli a huge success, supporting us and welcoming us into the community. It is bittersweet because we will miss all of you, however, Boogie & I are 68 and 67 respectively, and are ready to enjoy some down time. This opportunity just came to us literally less than 2 weeks ago. The new owners are going to close for approx 1 -2 months to totally redo the kitchen & a little remodeling - a fine young couple with much energy, hard working, great character, a great employer & very successful business people already. It will reopen as Reel Cajun Seafood, they are currently in mid county and are quite successful with amazing food. They met our staff this afternoon and offered EVERY employee a job at the new restaurant. we had informed them that all of our employees were great people and employees and they would be an asset to the new restaurant. We still own the name, Boogie & Tootsie's Deli, the recipes, signage - so if you know of anyone interested in opening up a deli - we will help you along the way and we have done all of the hard work in getting a business established over the past 4 years - so it is a given that you would immediately have a success.
