If vegetable wrangling was a thing... I win ! Florida broccoli weighting in at OMG ! I landed this fine specimen at the Tampa Wholesale Farmers Market...Circa 2012. I was so proud of my catch, even garnered the attention of The Laker News Paper in Land O Lakes. I got an interview with their Editor and in my case reporter... It will be fun she said ? She roasted me and my broccoli ! But like my late father ( Al Copeland) used to say, in advertising ... good or bad , it's all good...

Time to let go... I was so naïve when I came to Land O Lakes and started building what I had hoped would be a great and local Farmers Market for all to enjoy and make memories for their families. With fresh locally grown fruits and vegetables harvested daily and personally selected by me for my customers to enjoy at very fair prices. The nature of man and women and their ability to cause problems with gossip, bullying, nosiness and just plain ole meanness was truly an eye opener for me ! I was schooled... Oh well ! It's over now and I walked away a wiser man ! I wish and pray for all that choose to make my life so much harder then it need be. And that you find happiness and success in all you do ! And to all that found the harsh end of my tongue directed at you, I ask for forgiveness ! I meant no harm the same as your action's that brought out these extreme emotional responses where displayed in your ignorance and selfishness ! Heck, you didn't know any better. Looking out for yourself is a hard job. And you have to push your way around to survive, right? I now know that you just didn't know any better and I should have tried harder to keep my mouth shut and been more understanding ! Please forgive me. You can't help it if your an idiot no more that I could help it when I blew up on you for being a selfish idiot ! That kind of stuff really triggers me and I should have never been in the retail trade. Oh well, I could go on and on about all the injustices I felt but the truth is it was all just life... We live, we learn, we make changes... Goodbye Land O Lakes Farmers Market... Goodbye Russell and Cody Adams, I hope you guys make so much money in this life you have to buy two coffins a piece so you can take it all with you ! Goodbye, Dayla and Sarah I always knew what time it was but hoped that someday you would learn some compassion and decency as I was exhausted and needed a hand. Thanks for showing up for work, it was nice to have a pair of such devoted partner's to the cash register until there was nothing left and you just walked away without so much as a goodbye love you too, Dayla ! Goodbye, Larry Hadley and Christal You did a number on me and for what? I forgive you and wish you the best... And finally Mrs. Lockman... I really enjoyed your interest in all my affairs and hope I made your life more interesting. It must be hard for you with all that money in the bank your father earned and no idea as to how much good it could do if you could just let go of it a little bit ? I'm still a little shy to brush my teeth fearing when I open my mouth there you will be franticly waving at me ! Remember how when you used to pass my Farmers market in your Cadillac and no mater where I was on "my" property you would find me and start waving like a crazy person ! How sad of an existence that must be... I forgive you and hope you are feeling better now... Oh well... time to let go ! It was an experience of a lifetime ! I wish everyone the very best and pray that life brings you everything you desire ! Goodbye and good riddance ! You win! I don't know what you won ,but you won never the less ! This whole experience reminds me of that movie "Mean Girls" you know where a bunch of spoiled rich kids pick on a kid less fortunate... except this was real life and it involved adults ! So sad, so petty and so cowardly...

Land O Lakes Farmers Market
I am sorry Gabrielle Cuzzola we have been closed for quite some time now... There was just to many people in Land O lakes that just seemed to enjoy making life so much harder then it need be and with my personnel issues it was just to much for me ! My employees seemed to be always self-serving and any loyalty I had hoped for was just a dream... It was once a thriving and beautiful market that I built from scratch. With piles of fresh produce stretching's over a hundred feet long display and under an Oaktree canopy, surrounded by piles of fresh melons of all kinds and types ... I can still smell at the different aromas from the fruits that covered every inch of my market. The beautiful brick work with recycled glass of all colors imbedded in it I had laid by hand so our customers would have a something to admire while shopping for their favorite fruits and vegetables now covered in weeds, grass and junk ! And my garden, nurtured from seed or small plants left to wither and die. Oh, and my prized bougainvillea planted by me and watered daily that soared skyward reaching over twenty plus feet with gorgeous blooms in two different colors almost year round now cut at the base and left to die.. So sad!. Strange people indeed in that county ! The building on the property that I personally gutted and remodeled but was never able to finish is now inhabited by one of Russell and Cody Adams latest Victims. It's basically a barn, and an unfinished one at that. No electric, no kitchen, unfinished supports underneath and a questionable septic system servicing the one toilet, sink and tub and most certainly not inhabitable by any standards of law or good morals . But hey, Russell and Cody Adams what does the law and good morals have anything to do with making money, Right ? Then there's the RV trailer next door on the Adams's property with folks living in it just trying to keep a roof over their head. How much do you charge them for that Russel and Cody Adams ? A water hose, an extension cord, no way to dispose of waste... How much does that cost to survive there Russell and Cody Adams ? But hey, money's, money , right? Victims ! Then there's Tommy...poor Tommy ! He lived on the Adams property for a few years... his digs, a semi trailer. no water, no toilet, no nothing... just a box placed 20 or so feet from my new Farmers Market on property I purchased from Russell Adams. $40,000 down and $2500 a month. and they threw in an angry homeless man for free set up 20 feet from your new Farmers Market living in a box ? Poor Tommy wasn't charged any money to live there, he just had to be Russell and Cody's Slave to clean ,mow and take care of their property ! And placing him right on the property line to harass me and my family for a few years was just fun and calculated... Right Cody ? Bully's and sick people that operate with impunity in a county that often turns a blind eye and especially so if you have money and clout ? Hello, Mrs. Nancy Lockman remember when I first started building my market and you referred to me as Russell's Fruit Man and even went as far as to state we will just run you off if we don't like you ? Yes, I remember and I thought to myself how arrogant she is ! As the years went by you only reinforced this though with your waving games you played every time you passed my market... Not a friendly wave, but more taunting and frantic as the years went by and I didn't budge... You have my sympathy and I hope you feel better now ? And Oh Judge Lynn Tepper... I met you in your courtroom when I came there to hopefully get some relief from the years of unmitigated harassments and threat's I was subjected almost daily by Tommy. Living on the fence line in a box next to my Market I had spent years to build. You, without not one word from me started barking at me , rolling your eyes and shaking your head ,claiming I was not allowed to make any additional pleading... I was in shock, You had looked at the papers sitting in front of me I had prepared to help me with my ADHD present my case and presumed I was making additional pleadings... After toying with me for 20 or so minutes asking question totally unrelated to restraining orders and the laws relating to such ( two acts of bodily threat) you admonished me and told me to get along with my neighbors and dismissed my case... Unprofessional and bias ! I forgive you and am grateful you are retired now. 18 years is a long time to serve on the bench in Pasco County... I get it ! There is so much more I would like to share about my years living in a pressure cooker collectively know as Pasco County but I will stop for now... My name is Ken Copeland... I have ADHD and through these times an addiction to medications that started very young for me in my early teens ! In spite of this I only wanted to build a beautiful farmers market for all to enjoy, bringing in the best and freshest our local farmers had to offer. I did this for ten years living behind my market battling my own demons in a town that seemed hell bent on making my life harder than it already was for me! I don't like bullies and those that exploit the less fortunate but do not hate them ! Today I am learning to treat them as I would a sick person, with love, patience and tolerance ! P.S. If you were one of my customer's and got caught in one of my ADHD emotional outburst you have my apologies although you probably deserved it ! Selfishness triggers me but you probably didn't need all that mess...oops!

Ken Copeland I was a Navy man... I was always walking around the ship yelling "dam the torpedoes', full steam ahead " No body liked me then either...lol
Edwin Nelson Yeh, but you got your early medical release and full benefits! HA! Like the guy with the imaginary bicycle!
Ken Copeland Edwin... Naw ! I did the full 4 years of service with honorable discharge ! I was offered Officer candidate school in boot camp in light of my higher than average test scores... I respectfully declined. In my time, I qualified engine room supervisor on a billion dollar Naval Destroyer by the age of 21... At general quarters I manned damage control central managing and directing damage control teams throughout the ship in battle. I also computed how long our teams could go into certain area's before their skin and body parts became damaged from radiation poising.( That always bothered me, still does) At sea detail ( coming and going from ports) I stood on the bridge next to our Captain as engine room Liaison relaying real time issues that may be occurring down below. Our ship the USS Elmer Montgomery was very active and in my time we sailed half the oceans of the world with over three years of sea time. We also garnered many awards as one of the most squared away ships in the fleet... We were bad to the bone and although we never saw true live battle, we served a great purpose to prevent it throughout the cold war ! And in that respect I like to think we saved many lives... We were ready willing and able to bring it on to any threat...Land ,sea or air ! When I left the service in 1980 I fell into the trap/cycle of addictions... drinking and drugging ! Many of our service members do. Lost and confused we reached for some relief and the quickest and most readily available sadly is drugs and alcohol. Today, clean and sober I find myself in the unique position to help others from my own personnel experiences. And that's what I do and in so doing I help myself ! To all service members... Thank you and welcome home...
