Maine Homestead Maine Homestead, a Maine based specialty foods producer focusing on pickles, jam, jelly and relish. From then I was hooked!

Maine Homestead started as a way to use the extra cucumbers from the garden. After realizing that I would never eat the 100+ jars of pickles I'd made and enjoying looking for new recipes to try that other people in my family would like, I decided to try my hand at selling some of it. Thanks to The New School I got my first taste of success at the Second Annual Harvest fest, selling homemade bread, jams, jellies pickles and salsa.
