Our AC is currently out, but we've got a few free goodies to help keep things a little cooler and a lot more fun while supplies last:�

This week we partnered with Sentara to bring fresh, healthy snacks to the community :)

The bruschetta recipe features locally grown tomatoes from Wildwood Berry and Produce Farm, and fresh baked baguette slices from Father's Cafe & Bakery! Keep an eye out to learn how to make delicious snacks this summer so you can stop asking us for seconds (or thirds hehe)

Join us this Saturday at the Lynchburg Community Market as we kick off a fun, hands-on healthy snack activity in partnership with Sentara Health! Throughout the Summer, we'll be bringing you new, healthy recipe with seasonal ingredients sourced directly from our farmers. This Saturday's recipe is bruschetta, a simple, nutritious snack that's easy to make at home and packed with flavor, so meet us at the Chef's Demo Station inside to get in on the good eats!

Bring the family, learn a new recipe, and discover how healthy eating can be delicious, affordable, and fun. We can't wait to snack, learn, and connect with you at the Market this summer!

We're excited to share that the annual Tulip Bulb Sale is happening this Friday, May 15th, starting at 10:00 AM and running until sold out at the Lynchburg Community Market! First come first serve on our selection.
Pick up a bag of 50 tulip bulbs for just $10 — a great way to bring some spring beauty to your garden!

Join the Friends of the Market! This nonprofit group helps fund and offers volunteering support many of the programs you see throughout the year like Music at the Market, Horse-drawn Carriage rides, Santa at the Market, Chef Demonstrations, & more!

There are a few ways to get involved:
- Become a member and help support the Market through volunteering and contributions
- Apply for a board position to help guide programming and future initiatives
- Or simply support the Friends’ efforts by attending events and spreading the word

If you want to see more exciting events, this is your chance to help make it happen.
Apply at the link below . Applications are open through May 31st, with board selections beginning in June and terms starting July 1st. Board terms are three years.
