The next person behind our brand that we would like to introduce is the oldest of our 3 cowboys, Preston Peña. He won his first ranch rodeo buckle when he was 4 years old and has been collecting them along with rings, ribbons and trophies in baseball, roping, sorting and football. He now plays linebacker for the Somerset Bulldogs 7th grade A Team and plays Baseball for B2B Elite 13u. This cowboy has his share of accomplishments when it comes to sports and rodeo.
When he’s not busy competing, Preston keeps a good track of what bull bred what cows and what baby belongs to which cow. He keeps track of what shot was givin to which calf and even good with remembering their ages. He’s pretty handy with a rope and rides a horse pretty well. One of his greatest attributes is that he always reminds us to have faith in Christ and to give glory to Him. We are very proud of the young Christian cowboy he is becoming. Along with his younger brother Sage, he is a vital part of our operation and we’re very proud to call them our sons.

We raise cattle and produce beef from birth to finish. We not only raise calves but we care for the mommas and the bulls before the calf raising process ever begins. Every pound of ground beef or ribeye purchased from V Key Ranch goes to directly to keeping our family western, ranching and cowboy tradition alive for another generation all while bringing high quality beef to your family’s table. With that we’d like to introduce who we are.
This is Sage Peña and he is a 10 year old cowboy kid that goes to Savannah Heights in Somerset. He is a fierce competitor on the baseball field with B2B Elite 10u team in San Antonio. He also competes in 4H Horse Events and youth Ranch Rodeos. He’s definitely earned his stash of rodeo buckles and baseball rings. He is a great asset to our team on the ground and on horseback. He is good with the vaccine gun, the ear tagged, and even with a rope. His horse is Acasia a 23yo quarter horse that has been with us for over 18years.
Thank you Sage for helping us care for the livestock and help produce some of the best locally raised beef around.

From Market Days to Ranch Rodeos! We had a busy weekend and we’re so grateful for it!

We’re so proud of Preston, Sage and their teammates for putting in the effort and bringing home some hardware yesterday at the Mavericks 4H Baggin’ & Snaggin’ Kids Goat Ranch Rodeo!

Wow! What an incredible day yesterday! Thank you so much for an amazing day at Charm at the Farm at 46 Farms !
A HUGE thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth yesterday. Whether you purchased a burger, took home some of our beef, placed an order, or simply stopped by to say hello, we appreciate every single one of you!

We are beyond grateful for the support and love you showed us. Every purchase, every kind word, and every customer means more to us than you know. Being able to share the beef we raise with our community is exactly why we do what we do!

A little ironic how we started raising cattle so that our children would have the best quality of protein that we could provide for them, and now we are raising our children so that they could care for that same herd and provide others with nutritious beef for future generations.
