Chandler Family Farm We are a small family farm located in the heart of Mabank, Texas. WE are passionate about growing produce and pasture raised proteins.

Chandler Family Farm is currently home to roughly 140 hens, 5 Roosters, 42 Cornish Rock broilers, 2 dogs( Honey & Mabel) , 1 cat (Grey kitty) , 1 horse (Olive) and one special bull calf Lucky.

It’s market day friends!!!!! Tho@as the barefoot farmer is set up at the Mabank Farmers Market- go shop with him. He is saving for his FFA goat purchase. The Mabank market goes u til 2pm today but go early and beat the heat.!!

Friday at the farm store.!!!! It’s a GREAT day to shop local for veggies. We’ve got so many things.! Eat the rainbow is so possible here.

Tomatoes.! Yellow squash, patty pan (aka pancake) squash, avocado squash (Argentinian squash), onions 🧅, potatoes 🥔, green zucchini, golden zucchini, eggplant ( Japanese and regular)

Peppers: jalapeños purple- my dad says they are HOT. Then we have green “megatron” jalapeños

Bell peppers- 🫑 three colors- all delicious

Shish*to peppers- such a good appetizer to serve. Toss in Olive oil, sea salt and blister the pepper whole on the grill or stove and eat.! Incredible flavor@

Thursday May 28th, farm store products.!! We harvested loads of squash yesterday and the last green beans are in the fridge-

We have been busy plowing and planting. Fall is looking good, hopeful with pumpkins, winter squash, sweet potatoes in the ground so far.! More to come

First we are so grateful and thankful for the rain yesterday. Wow-what a blessing that was.

If you’ve cooked all of your veggies and need more- the farm store is loaded down. I harvested fresh yellow squash last night and all the other random squash varieties we are growing. Peppers stocked in the fridge- the last basket of green beans.
