There are still some shelf-stable goods available at the stand, along with apples you could put to good use, potatoes, holiday items, infant formula, and even farm-fresh eggs!

There are two six-packs of unwashed eggs on the stand, which are shelf stable for a couple of weeks. Additionally, there are two six-packs of washed farm-fresh eggs in the kitchen fridge at the Tech Center.

Please note: the only items available in the fridge are the two six-packs of eggs. Do not take anything else, as those items are for the workers in the building.

As always, thank you to everyone who continues to share and support the stand. We’re looking forward to building a bigger, better stand this winter so it’s ready to go when the nicer weather rolls around! 🥔🥚🍎

Please share with anyone you know who could use a fresh loaf! I have 10 baking today that I’ll split between the Community Center and the Rooted in Maddock stand for those affected by the SNAP pause.
I received a very thoughtful donation towards ingredients so I will be putting out loaves for the next few weeks, even if funds begin to distribute again.
It’s been a Monday - so 2 are still in the oven, but I’ll try to get them sliced, packed, and to the stands ASAP. I’ll add a few more fresh loaves to the Maddock pantry on Wednesday. ❤️

This is amazing. Thanks Becker Bakeshop for your generosity for our community. Look for loaves next week at the farm stand in the tech center. If you feel so inclined please feel free to drop food items to donate at the farm stand for our community members that may be struggling right now. Donations needed and highly appreciated at the Maddock food pantry also include hygiene items such as deodorant, feminine products, and other self care items. You can drop them at the farm stand or our amazing food pantry!

Hi Maddock Friends! If you or someone you know is affected by the loss of SNAP benefits this month please read or share!
I will be setting up a small stand just inside the Community Center with fresh sandwich loaves for those affected to have. There are only 5 available for today, but I will make more in the coming days as word gets out and I can be sure that they won't just sit. I may setup other easily accessible pickup locations as well. Please keep an eye out for updates. ❤️
The stand will be setup by 2pm. If anyone is worried about it being "sourdough" , the loaves are not very sour. It tastes similar to regular sandwich bread.
If you feel comfortable and would like to reach out to me personally to ensure you get a loaf, please feel free to!

The growing season is winding down!

As the temperatures drop, the last of the produce and stand items have moved inside the entryway of the Maddock Business and Technology Center. Please continue to take what you need while it lasts!

We can’t thank everyone enough for helping supply and support the stand this summer. It was well-used and received wonderful feedback — and we’re already planning a new and improved stand for next spring when the snow thaws!

In the meantime, start dreaming up that beautiful garden for next year—we can’t wait to see what our community grows next! 🌱

The stand is full of fall goodness — lots of apple varieties, plus tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers, and beets!

Maybe some apple baking is in someone’s future? 🍎🥧

Look at the abundance our community keeps sharing! 🌱✨ It’s so great to see produce continuing to come and go.

On the stand right now you’ll find:

• Small plums (we think!)
• Lots of cucumbers 🥒
• Lots of apples 🍎
• And even some dry goods!

It may be a gloomy day after Labor Day, but the stand is looking bright! 🌽🍅🍏

Huge thanks to everyone who's contributed to the stand so far! We've seen a fantastic variety of produce come through in just the first few days. I hope those who've taken items have enjoyed them, and I'm excited to see this sharing spirit continue!
