The Northside Farmers’ Market stands in solidarity and in sorrow with the loved ones of Corey Ruiz. We join the calls for full accountability and transparency during the investigation process.

We want the community to know that we will remain open as usual so that our neighbors can continue to have a place to gather and support our local food producers. Community members who use their EBT cards also benefit from the extra support provided by the double dollars program offered at most of the farmers’ markets in Madison.

Volunteers from the River Food Pantry regularly take produce donations at the end of the day to the River. We encourage our customers to “buy one for a neighbor” this week so we can make a bigger impact for our neighbors in need.

🥕 Double Dollars Market Spotlight: Northside Farmers’ Market

Make your Sunday morning trip count at the Northside Farmers’ Market. Stop by Northside Town Center this weekend to shop local foods while supporting a market rooted in community care and food access.

The Northside Farmers’ Market brings fresh, locally produced food to Northside Town Center each Sunday, creating a welcoming space for neighbors to shop local and connect with area farmers, makers, and producers. We’re also grateful to our partners at W***y Street Co-op North, located nearby in the same shopping area, for helping strengthen access to fresh, nutritious food on Madison’s north side.

Double Dollars started June 1, which means SNAP/EBT shoppers can now use Double Dollars at participating farmers markets. Double Dollars helps shoppers get up to $20 in matching funds to spend on fresh fruits and vegetables.
