We just wanted to notify the community that there will be no market this year. Despite our many attempts to find vendors to sell goods at the market, we have had no luck securing anyone. It’s the hope of Dig In to be able to step up by the market season next year and have something in place to start providing some level produce. As it stands we have no place to grow anything for market distribution. We also lack a walk-in freezer to store goods obtained regionally. Hopefully we will eventually find the support in the community to help us rectify these issues.

I want to apologize for the lack of an update lately. Things have been super busy lately. Due to lack of interest, the farmers market is going on suspension for the rest of the season. If I get contacted by people that are willing to dedicate themselves to certain Saturdays and can verify that they intend to show up than I’ll be happy to show up and even advertise that day. In absence of that we are going to focus efforts on organizing vendors for next year. I’m sorry that we haven’t been able to offer much to the community this year.

Our new Market Permit coming in just in time for our first market day Saturday the 5th. We will be there at 10am till around 2pm. Feel free to come sell, stop by and shop, or just roll through to check things out. Down on the corner of Main Street and Josephine Avenue in Madison.

Got this great package in the mail today. We greatly appreciate Guyan Conservation District’s Pollinator Program for their contribution to our organization and community garden project.
