Full bags, families, furry friends, a beautiful breeze, bluegrass music, and plenty of fresh finds made for a pretty great Saturday morning.

This , we’re celebrating vendors who never stop learning, creating, and sharing their passion with our community. Here’s just a few of our many vendors who are continually honing their craft.

🌺 Linda from Linda’s Bloomers and Karen from American Wildflower Farms recently attended a floral workshop together, bringing home fresh inspiration and new techniques.

🥯Theresa from Clear Creek Creations is always traveling, exploring new places, and bringing inspired recipes back to Madison and the market, even visiting King Arthur Baking Company recently! She loves sharing what she learns through workshops at her bakery on Main Street.

🧶 Cheryl from Click Fibers will soon teach two workshops to help others learn about raising fiber animals in Southern Indiana.

🌱 and Sherrie and Mike from Wild Harmony Organics attended the InTents Conference in San Diego this year, connecting with farmers, market managers, business owners, and industry leaders from across the country to exchange ideas.

🌻 It’s National Farmers Market Week! This week, we’re celebrating the people, places, and purpose behind farmers markets everywhere.

Did you know the Madison Farmers Market is the oldest farmers market in Indiana, with its beginnings dating back to 1809? For more than two centuries, it has been a place where our community gathers to support local agriculture, small businesses, and one another.

💚 Supporting Local – Every purchase supports local farmers, makers, bakers, artisans, and small businesses.

🥕 Fresh & Seasonal – Food is harvested closer to home, meaning less transportation, a lower carbon footprint, and produce that’s picked at the peak of freshness.
