The kids had an awesome time at the Historic Manassas Farmers Market POP Club on Saturday, 6/13/26 (sponsored by Sprouts Farmers Market)! The Power of Produce (POP) Club is a fun, free program for kids 14 and under to explore healthy eating and our local food system through hands-on activities, taste tests, and direct interactions with farmers. The next club date is tentatively scheduled for July 11, 2026.

When kids check-in and participate, they earn $2 in POP Bucks to spend on fresh fruits and/or vegetables . Plus, they can take the Two Bite Challenge! Try two bites of the featured seasonal produce and earn an additional $2 in POP Bucks—a great way to discover new flavors and support local farmers! Thank you to C & A Produce for their donation of blueberries this round!

It's time for this week's winner of Mayor Michelle's Pick of the Week from the Historic Manassas Farmers Market this past Saturday (6/13/26). This week our Mayor chose Hinterland Gardens for their unique pairing of fresh cut flowers and old fashion kettle corn. You can find Hinterland Gardens at our Saturday Market almost every week - so pop on by for some smell-goods AND some taste-goods!
