Howdy South Austin! This is Ian, founder of Austin Farmers Market. I’m building something here in South Austin, and I want to hear from YOU.
My goal is to turn Austin Farmers Market into more than just a place to shop on Saturday mornings. I want to build a local food hub that brings people together and connects you directly with the farmers and small businesses growing and producing your food.
But I’m just one guy, and I can’t speak for the whole community.
So this week, I emailed our community and asked:
“What would make you want to spend a Saturday morning at the market? What vendors, food, activities, or events would you like to see?”
And I’m going to keep asking questions like this as we build the market.
