I had a conversation with a friend today about a TikTok she saw discussing the different kinds of beef available at the grocery store. And when I say “different kinds of beef,” I don’t just mean grass-fed vs. grain-fed. I mean the chemicals, hormones, antibiotics, fillers, and all the other things that can end up in our food without most people even realizing it.
It got me thinking… we’ve had The Farm Market for 3 years this month, and sometimes I forget there are still people who don’t know that not all food is created equal.
That’s exactly why we started doing what we do at The Farm Market — bringing REAL food to REAL people.
All of our meat comes from local farms. Our beef, pork, chicken, and eggs come from our own farm. Our lamb comes from a farm just down the road. We proudly carry goods made by local families and makers, and when the season allows, local growers bring in
vegetables fresh from their gardens.
We also strive to provide healthier alternatives for home and body products because it matters to us what you’re bringing into your home and feeding your family.
This isn’t just a business to us — it’s something we deeply believe in. Food should nourish your family, not work against it.
If you’ve never stopped to really look into where your food comes from, what’s added to it, or how it’s raised and produced, I encourage you to start asking questions. Read labels. Research ingredients. Get to know your farmers. It truly matters more than most people realize.
And if you’re looking for a place to start, we’d love to help. Whether you shop with us weekly or are just beginning your journey toward cleaner, more intentional living, The Farm Market is here to connect you with food and products you can feel good about bringing home to your family.
