Farmers market dinners are the best kind of dinners 💕 We’d love for you to share your pictures, too!

Last night's dinner was one of those meals that reminds us why we do this.

A lamb leg steak from our farm, marinated in Mediterranean spices and seared to perfection. Garlic olive oil kale and aleppo pepper summer squash from Varga Family Farm. Hot honey parmesan sourdough from Hillyndale Road Farm & Bakery.

Simple ingredients. Local farms. Real flavor.

The best meals don't need complicated recipes—they just need food raised and grown with care.

What's on your dinner table tonight?

🍔 Market Meals Friday: Father's Day Edition 🥩

Start Father’s Day morning with fresh strawberries from Dondero Orchards topped with Namaste Granola and local honey from Varga Family Farm. Add farm-fresh eggs and bacon from Kindred Crossings Farm LLC and a side of toasted sourdough from Hillyndale Road Farm & Bakery for a breakfast that's simple, delicious, and made almost entirely from local ingredients.

For dinner, throw some burgers, bratwurst, or steaks from Kindred Crossings Farm on the grill and serve them with a big salad made from lettuce, spinach, arugula, strawberries, radishes, and fresh herbs from To***co Road Farm and Willow Valley Farm. Toss in broccoli or cauliflower from Varga Family Farm and micro-greens from Growing Goodness for extra crunch and flavor.

Finish the meal with a sweet treat from Keep It Sweet—a strawberry mini cake, brownies, cookies, or coffee cake. Whether you're celebrating Dad, Grandpa, or simply gathering around the table with friends or family, you'll find everything you need at this Saturday's Storrs Farmers Market!
