So lots of people have asked what is a tartine? The term tartine comes from france and is a toasted bread topped with an array of sweet and savory ingredients. It's similar to the concept of an open faced sandwich! Our mortadella ricotta tartine is a toasted Italian bread, topped with whipped lemon ricotta, mortadella, pistachio pesto, crushed pistachios, olive oil, salt and pepper and mint leaves!
