Check out the blooms on these tomatoe plants. Once I added their fertilizer to the injection system I had to run more string on couple of rows. I am really impressed with the growth rate of these heat varieties we got going for the summer / fall crop. The fertilizing schedule and mixture they are on is working well. We started these seeds on June 1st and put them in the bags on July 1st.

Note if wondering they are on automatic irrigation that comes on twice daily and runs for 2 hours each time. That is the only con to the grow bags is they need water water and more water in these hot months. We also use our drip irrigation to apply our fertilizer weekly.

Fall tomatoe planting started today. Still got to trim the lower branches off and get the supports put up and the irrigation lines ran. These are heat tolerate and started from seed 4 weeks ago. Still got more to go and will have extra seedlings left over. I have a couple people wanting some and whatever I left over will be available.
