Ooooh it’s almost time! The Manzanita Farmers Market opens May 15 and will continue on Fridays from 4-7pm through September.
It’s been an incredibly warm winter, so we can expect some earlier harvests than usual. I can’t wait for those juicy sweet strawberries, fresh greens and herbs, crunchy carrots, and beautiful flowers. And this year, we’re very excited to have fresh oysters at the market, direct from Netarts Bay!
This year we are working on improving accessibility at the market. We will have the beach wheelchairs on site and available to use first come, first served while you visit the market. We are adding an ADA picnic table on a gravel pad, and we are working with Public Works to improve our accessible parking and access to the food court and music area (coming in July!).
We also are happy to continue our Triple Up SNAP match program this season. Spend $20 in SNAP benefits at the market and get $60 to spend, every week! Visit the market info booth to learn more and run your SNAP card.
We’ve got so many awesome vendors this year, both returning favorites and some exciting new businesses. We will have live music every week, I’ll be posting the schedule soon. Can’t wait to see you there!
