I have been doing research on nutrients within microgreens and it has really lite a fire under me! Our family spends too much money on multivitamins and have really been questioning how much our bodies absorb. Last winter I found out that I was very deficient in D and B. We have been taking the microgreens as vitamins and we are working on drying some to make a super green powder to slip in the nutrients in even more dishes to pump us full of the greens without even seeing the veggies!

Look at this chart!! Is anyone blown away by this like I was?? Lutein + Zeaxanthin is what we were told to buy help Tys eye sight. We order liquid vitamins and they were gross.. Kale is our new power house vitamin that we are trying to eat daily! We plan to try to eat quite a bit of microgreens this winter and combine that with the elderberry syrup to help us get through the cold and flu season!

We do have more elderberry syrup available if anyone needs any.

This information is from USDA with just 1 oz of kale microgreens. Let me know if you are interested in seeing all the data from kale or any of the microgreens I have been looking into!

Craig Moore is making me an app to help document all of our homesteading data! If you want to get an early access and try it out- comment below.

My favorite thing is using the garden side to keep track of when I watered my plants and keep a schedule on the calendar! He also has a scheduled reminder for the watering! This is a game changer for me and is going to save us so much time!!

Another awesome thing is that I will be able to track what ewes have what lambs, when we give shots, pictures of the lambs, etc!
