Marcellus Food Pantry is now running the beloved KCH Shopping Spree! We couldn’t let this timeless tradition end- But we need your help!
Now collection donations of small, like new gift items. Garage sale leftovers or craft fair items are perfect!
Small toys, fidgets, coffee mugs, unused candles, new body products like lotions, dog toys, fishing lures, small tools (like the kind from the dollar store,) tchotchkes, beanie babies and more!!
We have a 24/7 drop off bin in front of wags grooming or message us to make other arrangements.

New families may sign up starting the week of 9/14.

Thank you to our MANY volunteers who showed up today! Ranging in age from 7 years old to a spry 82 years old, volunteers organized shelves, stocked donations, organized freezers, assembled food bags, made deliveries, unloaded 250+ cases of food, assisted shoppers, greeted farmers as they dropped off produce, checked customers in made sure everything ran smoothly! We are looking for a few more people to show up tonight at 6:15 to help assemble large pantry shelves! This is a time sensitive project and we are eager to have it complete asap!!

Volunteers needed this Tuesday!
We could use a few more hands on deck!

*Tuesday Sept 1 8:45-9:45 am We are looking for a few people to come organize our shopping room. We have been SUPER busy lately and our shelves could use a little love. This opportunity is perfect for a few individuals or bring a friend or small group! Helpful kids are welcome to join in!!

*Tuesday Sept 1 12pm-1:15PM. Help unload our delivery truck and get your cardio done in one fell swoop! It is helpful if you can lift at least 15lbs and like to stay busy. For this volunteer opportunity, we are mostly moving cases of food. We leave most of the unpacking for a different team. This opportunity is appropriate for adults and teenagers.

Tuesdays 10:30am Ongoing. We are looking for a couple more people to join our Backpack Program Team. This team meets every Tuesday to assemble food bags and boxes for distributions at Marcellus Schools. Appropriate for adults. No heavy lifting required. No commitment! Come when your schedule allows.

We have been blessed with an over abundance of produce! Thank you to our community gardeners!!
Today also kicks off our back up school clothing give away. If your kiddos need to add to their school clothes wardrobe, come check out our selection!!

We are open tonight!! Come on in!
A giant THANK YOU to the many community members who showed up today to help out! We had literally 14 minutes before we opened as scheduled, to unload and bring in 85 cases of very needed food for our customers!
This was such a beautiful reminder of how special and amazing our little town is! I am grateful for every single one of you!!

A special note of gratitude to Aislinn Abbott. Aislinn is an incoming Senior at Marcellus High School. Over the summer, Aislinn set up a face painting stand at Old Home Days with the intent to donate the money earned to a program in town that helps local kids. We are grateful she selected us! Aislinn kicked off our Back to School Supplies drive and purchased over $300 in items off our Amazon Wish List. Aislinn is a true example of how great our young people are today as she leads with kindness, compassion and integrity. 🫶
