Tomorrow morning I need to screw a screw in on the chicken door so it cannot be opened until little chicks are grown out enough to go outside. Need to fix some watering trays on buckets for in the broody box and someday soon get a bag of chick starter.

Candled the eggs in the incubator tonight. I know you aren't supposed to count them before they hatch but 15 of 18 seem viable. Lockdown tomorrow night or Friday morning.

After taking a few months off, we're back in the chicken business. The next hatch of chicks should be hatching August 11.

I don’t know who gave this man a management position, but he’s taking it way too seriously. 🤠 Between the 4 AM scream-fests and the attitude, I’m pretty sure he’s the one paying the mortgage. Anyone else’s Alabama rooster think he’s the head coach?
