We have scheduled our inventory closeout sale for this Saturday from 8am until noon. We have several hundred pounds of frozen beef and pork. If you need to fill your freezer stop in and see us. The inventory is primarily roasts, chops, short ribs, shanks etc... Great items for crockpot cooking as we head into the cooler months. All pork products are $2/lb, all beef products are $4/lb. cash and butchery gift cards only.

Good day everyone, it's been an amazing year bringing our custom butcher shop to life for Harmar Village and Marietta as a whole. So it is with a heavy heart that we announce the decision to close The Butchery. Unfortunately, our efforts to sell the business in the last 6 weeks have proven unsuccessful. Due to staffing, the closure is effective immediately. We will be having a sale to empty our freezer stock in the coming days. We will also have a sale of all of our equipment sometime in the next couple weeks. Please stay tuned to our page and share our next posts about the upcoming sales. We would like to thank everyone for their support over the last year, we had high expectations for this business succeeding and while we put together some amazing products, we simply did not have enough business to keep the doors open. Thank you again to everyone that stepped through our doors.

As we mentioned last week when announcing the sale of Baked on Maple, The Butchery is also now available for purchase. The team at the Harmar Village Restaurant Group is working diligently to finish work and open Derailed Distillery. To do so, it's time that The Butchery was in new hands to help it grow. The sale of the business includes a contract to continue making product for The Busy Bee and for Derailed when it opens. This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneur to be part of an amazing community here in Harmar Village as we continue to grow and develop as the hospitality and food hub of Marietta. We will stay open and operational as we look for a buyer.

With the recent sale of our sister store Baked on Maple, we will be making alterations to our business going forward. The first change will be to our operating hours. Starting today, The Butchery will be open Tuesday-Saturday 11am-6pm, we will be closed on Sunday/Monday. While we will attempt to maintain the same or at least similar product line, further changes will be made as we work to find a new owner/operator that is willing to maintain the current relationship with our parent company The Harmar Village Restaurant Group, and sister businesses The Busy Bee Restaurant and the soon to be open Derailed Distillery. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks.

Such exciting news for all of us in Harmar Village. Kassia has taken the step and purchased our sister store, Baked on Maple. She will definitely bring some new and exciting options to the storefront. Now that we are separated there will be a few changes, primarily the opening between the two storefronts will be closed. We will also be changing our operating hours to better meet the needs of our individual customers. Pay attention to our page as we continue to update everyone on forthcoming changes.

The Harmar Village Restaurant Group is excited to announce a change to the business operations here at Baked on Maple. As of this afternoon, Baked is now under the direction of its new owner, Kassia Kostelnik. Kassia has been on board with us for the last few months here at Baked on Maple, but started her work history with us here in Harmar Village at the Busy Bee where she was the Kitchen Manager for several years. Her early work and recipes laid the groundwork for everything that Baked on Maple has become and we know that the business is in great hands moving forward. The customer relationship with the Harmar Village Restaurant Group will continue as Baked on Maple will continue to provide the Busy Bee with breads/sweets/rolls/etc... and will also provide numerous items to Derailed Distillery when we are open. New and exciting products and options are on the way. Stay tuned for details!

Come on by the Butchery this week for some of our tried and true best products! We’ve got plenty of Beef Jerky out on the shelves today, as well as a plethora of our very own house cured and smoked pork bacon.

There’s a delicious smoked chicken salad and some smoked bacon Gouda mac and cheese that would be great for dinner tonight! Or try our unique zucchini pickles, a delicious twist on a classic.

Good Morning Marietta! Wake up and smell the smoked meats.

We’ve certainly got them for ya. Come in the shop til 3 today to pick up some of our delicious, locally-sourced meats and foodstuffs.

New and noteworthy on the shelves today, we’ve got The Butchery’s own all beef Lil Smokies, the perfect cocktail wiener; Chimichurri and Butchery Blend Steak Tips, marinated and pre seasoned for easy flavor; Snack Stick Bites w cheese, the perfect camping or fishing snack; Hardwood Smoked Pork Jowl Bacon, a fatty bacon from the neck of the pig, cheap and delicious!

Ask any of our butchers about special catering orders too, we’re happy to meet demands of any size and shape.

Keep your weekend free, Marietta! We’ve got our annual festival over here on the West Side starting tomorrow evening, going all weekend long. There will be lots of good foods, live music, all sorts of events for the kiddos, an extended beer garden, and much more!

Most importantly, in our humble opinion, there’ll be a big yellow food trailer supplied with our very own array of smoked meats and meat accessories. We’ve been smoking Beef Short Ribs, Beer Brined Chicken, BBQ Rubbed Pork Butts, Pork Hocks, Bacons and more! Try a sandwich smothered in our house BBQ Sauce, or a plate of fries loaded w queso and our scratch-made Chili Sauce.

I’m already drooling thinking about it.
