Newsletter #170: April 25-May 1st
What a beautiful week it has been! I hope you all are enjoying the beautiful spring that we are having!
The weather is nice and seasonal in the 70s and lows in the high 40s-50s through Wednesday next week. Now, we are going to have to keep watching next Thursday and Friday. The highs are a little bit lower, and the lows are showing 39 and 40. We will have to see! Last week, I said there would be no frost at all, and we had two hard frosts. Sigh!
Thank you for the positivity and kindness about our greenhouse expansion. We are working on cleaning them up right now, and we are planning on getting flowers/veggies down there on Friday, May 1st. We hope you all will stop by and check it out!
Wondering what our hours will be to start at the WV Route 14 Huck’s?
Friday, May 1st: 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
Saturday, May 2nd: 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.

Here is what is happening inside the market!
Mother’s Day is coming up in a couple of weeks, and there is nothing that makes a mother happier than her family remembering her! So, stop into Huck’s for all sorts of treats and gifts!
We are getting the best compliments on the new fry pies that we have. Jim found out that they have many more flavors, so we are hoping to add to the Peach, Black Raspberry, Apple, and Cherry that we have now.
Our coffee beans have added another layer of delicious aromas to the market. These coffee beans can be bought whole to grind at home, or you can dump them in our coffee grinder for fresh ground coffee. There is nothing than coffee that is freshly ground. Try one of our flavors like Southern Pecan or German Chocolate. We use the Five Star Restaurant at Huck’s Downtown, and people like it!
Do you always get the same thing every time you get one of our award winning sandwiches? If you want, we can keep your order, so you don’t have to fill out a slip every time. Just ask one of us, and we will put it on our board to keep til next time!
Haven’t tried the Mudd Valley kettle chips yet? They are called Uglies, but they are delicious. We have all sorts of flavors. I have been told the Jalapeño ones are really tasty. Grab a Mudd Valley tea in a glass bottle to go with it, and you have a great side for lunch or a snack. There is something about an ice cold glass bottle that makes a drink taste better!
It’s time for summer deli salads, and we have some of the best around. They are fresh and don’t sit around for days and days. Stop in for Old Fashioned Potato Salad, Baked Potato Salad, German Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, Egg Salad, Pimento Cheese, Seafood Salad, Tapioca Pudding, Baked Beans, Pasta Salad, Macaroni Salad, and Memphis Cole Slaw! Switch up your dinner sides this week!
The honey has been flowing out the door! We got a new restock, so stop in and get the perfect size for you and your family!
