Here’s a pile of kittens to start your week 😍

The cats and dogs here are spayed & neutered, but these kittens’ mama showed up (likely dropped off) just a few weeks before she had them. It’s been fun watching all of the kitten antics, since we haven’t had any here in quite some time! ❤️

COME SEE US TOMORROW for our Red, White, & Blooms Labor Day Celebration!! 🎆

Featuring:

🇺🇸 A huge American flag display in the flower fields + self-guided field tours

🌻 A build-your-own bouquet bar on the patio

🌭 A picnic on the porch! Our menu includes Italian paninis, caprese paninis, our pasture-raised beef hot dogs, pasta salad, & more! (You are also welcome to bring a blanket and picnic in the flower fields- $10 admission.)

🍓 Red, white, & blue sundaes! Our vanilla bean ice cream topped with homemade blueberry & strawberry sauces + whipped cream!

PLUS a fully stocked farm store, scratch-made baked goods fresh from our kitchen, to-go picnic foods, and so much more. Our farm store will be open 10-4 tomorrow, and the event runs from 10 to 2! WE CAN’T WAIT TO SEE YOU!

Lately we’ve had some customers say things like, “You must have a big machine or factory making your ice cream for you!” And the truth is, NOPE!

This little machine here is what we use to make ALL of our ice cream! We make it right here on our farm, entirely from scratch with OUR milk, in a process that is almost entirely manual aside from the actual churning that this freezer does for us. 😅

We start with our pasture-raised milk and local heavy cream, use our own self-developed recipes and processes, put the ice cream base into this singular batch freezer, mix-in our scratch-made flavors/sauces/baked goods, fill our containers by hand, and end up with the ice cream you all know and love.

Some customers assume we are a much larger operation than we are. But at the end of the day, there are only THREE people (at the absolute most) who are a part of our ice cream production.

We can name the cows who made the milk and the people who turned it into ice cream for you. How many places can say that? 😉
