This Saturday - October 31st is Applebutter and Horseradish Day. It is the last Harvest Saturday of the year. The stirring will be from 9:00 -2:00ish, the grinding of the horseradish will be from 9-12ish in the pavilion.
The Schmidt's Sausage truck will be serving 10:00-4:00pm.

Have you seen a wooly bear catapiller this year? Do you remember what their stripe is supposed to mean? .

Maybe the winter won't be too harse! 🤞🤣

Harvest Saturday #9 was a fun day for all who participated. They loved the treasure! It was a beautiful fall day with plenty of people to enjoy it with us. Our customers enjoyed the Fire & Fried Egg Roll food truck.
Next week is our Annual Applebutter and Horseradish Day.

We have 3 grades of apples.
Our top grade apple- they look good, and taste good.
Our chef's choice- these apple have small blemishes, but they taste good and are perfect for baking and applesauce where looks don't matter.
Then there are deer apples, not good enough to qualify for either of the other two grades. Deer aren't picky! They are just 10.00 a bag.
We are open 9-6pm Mondays- Saturdays until November . Winter hours will be Tuesdays -Saturdays 10-5pm until Christmas Eve.

After reading this article we want to invite the writers to our little orchard. We have great customers who usually are careful with their visits here at the orchard.
Do we have some theft here? Well, there are some people who like to fill their bags fuller than should, but others don't fill them full. We are praying that next year our crop returns to allow a good pick your own season again.
We have one Saturday that has an entrance fee * Applefest *, but other wise, we would rather people come in the market and buy some of our items on the shelves.
We love that people spend hours here, just strolling through the trees, walking the story stroll, talking to the animals, enjoying the corn bin, or the haymze.
You just keep being you and we will keep being us!

Harvest Saturday #9- This Saturday 10-24- 26. The Treasure Hunt! 11:00 am -2:00pm
The food truck is Fire and Fried Egg Roll truck. This is a unique truck with great food. Come give them a try!
Meet in the pavilion to get the hunt started. The hunt is open to everyone. Find the clues and receive the treasure.
We will be having a drawing for the painted pumpkin. Any child that participates with the treasure hunt is eligible to put in a note for the pumpkin drawing. The drawing will be done about 2:00pm.

We have set up a small Christmas tree to remind you that we are open until Christmas Eve. We offer apple box mailers and the Buckeye boxes that can be ordered and shipped now. As we get closer to Christmas, we will add fruit baskets for pick up and local deliveries. We will be bringing some very good fruit cakes and lots of Christmas goodies.
Starting November 1st we will be open Tuesdays - Saturdays 10-5pm until Christmas Eve.
Our Christmas Open House is Nov. 21st. 10-5pm
We are still open 9-6pm -Mondays-Saturdays until Oct. 31st.

This is the pumpkin we offered at Applefest. The true weight was 42.25 lbs. We had a single winner. However the pumpkin has not been picked up, so it is considered surrendered.
But, he really would like to be at someone's home for Halloween.
This Saturday we will have a drawing . Any youngester that participates with the treasure hunt can put their name in for the drawing.
The Treasure Hunt is 11:00 am -2:00 pm - Come to the pavilion to get started!
