Today we worked our future garlic field with a field cultivator, then we broadcast Sudan grass cover crop then rolled the field to give good seed to ground contact helping germination. We plant Sudan grass to add organic matter to the field. Then we will mow it down and incorporate. All these steps to give you the best garlic 🧄 we can grow.

With the low temps last night our asparagus froze. Mother Nature can be cruel but at the same time helpful. Mother Nature froze our asparagus and she-also froze the wild cucumber weeds that we’re growing in our garlic field. You have to take the good with the bad.
