Update 5:40 pm. We got some tomatoes and bell peppers cleaned up and at the stand.

I'm going now to pick jalapeños and see what I can find. Alot of checkered ones out there aka corking, which are still yummy, just a bit ugly. I personally love to roast these on the grill!

More zucchini in a few days. Our winter squash is still not there yet darn it!

We once again just got cleaned out. Tim and I are working on restocking. May take us a bit to wash, sort and all that good stuff. Hopefully we can get things ready for you by dinner time. We so appreciate all of you!!

Happy Hoppy start to the Labor Day Weekend ya'll!

So just a quick update. First, our sweet corn is done. We so appreciate all the reviews we received from everyone. Looks like were going to stick with the flavor we chose this year. So many awesome compliments and no bad reviews, so we Thank You all for your feedback!!!

Secondly, the 3 inches of rain we received over the last few days has not helped us here at all. Everything is splitting, bell peppers, tomatoes, jalapeños, cucumbers. Everything.

We're having to let the veggies sit for a couple hours before washing, just to see who makes it.

So you may see some blem bags. Nothing really wrong with anything, just not the quality we are all use too and surely not as fast at restocking.

The good news is there's another round coming in a couple weeks by the mass amount of green tomatoes we have, the re-flowering and new growth on everything.

So it may be slow for a bit. Our hopes are everything catches up with our winter squash, and we'll have another wonderful harvest soon with pumpkins and corn stalks to follow.

Side note. The the wasps are being not so kind. They're everywhere! So if you see me flailing my arms around, I'm not signaling for help, just trying to fight back without getting stung 😆

Hoppy Thursday afternoon! Got plenty of garden goodies ready for you!

Stop on by before you head to the farmers market in town this afternoon. Save a few bucks here and grab what we dont have there!

Tomato quarts $2, individual tomatoes 50 cents to $1 based on their weight.

Jalapeño pints $1 each. Bell peppers 50 cents each.

Sweet corn $6 dozen/ 50 cents an ear.
We have about 6 good rows left.

Always get some of the coolest clouds, sunsets, all that good stuff. God is showing off today ❤️

Farm update.

Got tomatoes, peppers, jalapeños and sweet corn. Sweet corn is nearing its end. Sold out of onions for the season. More eggplant probably next weekend. Zucchini is here and there, in the re-flowering stage. Outdoor cherry and grape tomatoes are doing well. Just getting started.
Keeping stock a bit low at the stand but only because we want to sell you the freshest veggies.

Fall cabbage is putting good roots down and our winter squash looks promising. Pumpkins are growing nicely and doing their thing!

Nothing like eating food that has the bell peppers, tomatoes and jalapeños you picked fresh off the vine for your favorite local Mexican restaurant!!
