Nestled here in the beautiful piney woods of East Texas, Bear Creek Smokehouse was born in 1943 when "Hick" & Nellie began curing & smoking their delicious turkeys and hams. Since then, mouth-watering Bear Creek smoked meats have become a holiday tradition in homes across the nation. We believe our customers keep coming back because we continue to create smoked meats without compromise... the same old-fashioned way Hick & Nellie did. Our meat is slowly cured & slowly smoked over hickory embers from wood cut right here on our farm, for irresistible flavor. We feel that each package we ship contains not only our savory smoked meats but, more important, our family name & pride! That's why we take such care with everything we sell.... just simple, old-fashioned smoking secrets handed down from Hick & Nellie.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out and supported our 4th Annual BBQ & Balloon Festival! The weather wasn’t exactly in our favor, but y’all still showed up and showed OUT! 👏🏻

To our amazing vendors, balloon pilots, customers, friends, family, and everyone who helped make this event happen — THANK YOU! We’re so grateful for each and every one of y’all who continues to support Bear Creek.

We may not have gotten the weather we hoped for, but we sure felt the love! ❤️🤠
