After 26 beloved years of serving the New Salem and surrounding areas, the time has come for us to retire and watch what was once our life - Polk Mountain Market, live on without us. This whole dream could not have been possible without our amazing employees, vendors, and our dedicated customers – all who we consider to be part of our family. We have watched little ones come in to buy snacks after school, now bringing in little ones of their own. To say Polk Mountain has been a blessing to us, still seems to fall short of the gratitude and joy we owe to the years of being a part of the New Salem community. So, thank you to all who have supported us, loved us and made us a part of your own family. Polk Mountain will be under new management as of tomorrow, and tonight will be the last time Scotty will lock the doors. We might have to find him a new hobby, so all suggestions are welcome!
